2020 Career Development Program Certificates Earned

2020 has been a memorable year because of COVID-19 and the effect that it had on training in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council’s Career Development Program, however, was not affected when training came to a halt in early March. The program which began in 2003 had not been expanded until this year with 12 new career tracks being offered. These new career tracks are School Officer I, II and III, Tactical Officer, Canine Officer, Intermediate and Advanced Court Security Officer, Sheriff Supervisor, Manager, Executive and Chief Executive and Investigative Public Safety Dispatcher. New career tracks garnered new interest in the program. Since January 1, 2003, CDP has awarded a total of 5,769 certificates and a total of 477 for 2020.

If you are interested in the Career Development Program, you can find the Informational Guide and Applications on our web site.

The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council would like to congratulate the 477 full time law enforcement personnel who earned certificates this year. Congratulations!
