Job Description: Answering emergency calls from agencies and the public
Gathering information from callers
Using radio systems to transmit all necessary details regarding a situation to police officers and other emergency service workers
Using local databases to assist officers by informing them regarding issues like warrant information and driver's license situations
Initiating mobilization of police officers to accident or crime scene
Maintaining record of all calls during a shift
Assisting citizen walk ins to our dispatch center providing officer assistance or needed docAnswering emergency calls from agencies and the public
Gathering information from police systems and call handlers
Conducting priority assessments based on vulnerability and risks
Liaising with police officers to determine the logistics of place and time of an incident lodged
Using radio systems to transmit all necessary details regarding a situation to police officers and other emergency service workers
Using local databases to assist officers by informing them regarding issues like warrant information and driver's license situations
Initiating mobilization of police officers to accident or crime scene
Maintaining record of all calls during a shift
Assisting citizen walk ins by providing documents requested or dispatching police assistance.
Shift Information:
Starting Salary: $53,997 to $65,354 yearly based on years of service. College incentive pay for law enforcement based degree.
