KLEC Staff and Appointed Members Welcomes Joseph S. Cline as the New KLEC Monitor

The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council is pleased to announce the newest KLEC Instructor Monitor, Joseph S. Cline. Joseph S. Cline recently retired as the Chief Deputy Sheriff at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department. He started his career with the Olive Hill Police Department in 1985 and during his 26-year career; he worked for the Morehead Police Department and retired as Chief of Police of the Morehead State University Police Department in 2001.

Joe served in the Kentucky Army National Guard. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia Southern University and is a graduate of the 217th Session of the FBI National Academy. Joe served the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council Instructor Certification Committee for 15 years ending his appointed term as the Chair of the Instructor Certification Committee and member of the Executive Board. He has been a certified law enforcement instructor for Kentucky since 1994. He currently serves on the Kentucky Association of Chief of Police Executive Board.
