Bridget Hallahan

Major Bridget Hallahan is the Commander of the Training Division of the Louisville Metro Police Department. She began her career with the former Jefferson County Police Department in 1999 as a patrol officer, then with the newly merged Louisville Metro Police Department in 2003. She has served in various capacities throughout the Louisville Metro Police Department, including Patrol, Investigations, Professional Standards Unit Sergeant, Training Unit Sergeant, and most recently as the Crimes Against Children Commander before being promoted to Major and appointed Director of Training in 2017. She is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s Administrative Officers Course (AOC 123) and the Department of Criminal Justice Training’s Academy of Police Supervision (Class 30). Major Hallahan has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisville and is currently completing her Master of Science. She serves on the Curriculum Committee.
